Why is there a problem of crusher bearing wear?
(1) Metal fatigue wear is normal, which is an inherent characteristic of the metal itself.
(2) For the problem of fit relationship, from a microscopic perspective, the metal mating surface can only achieve 30%-50%, so the small stress surface of the mating part is also one of the root causes of metal fatigue and wear.
(3) Installation problems. During the installation process, the installation position of the bearing cannot be well controlled or the clearance of the bearing cannot be effectively controlled, resulting in the failure of the bearing to be in a good state during operation, and then the running resistance increases and the temperature rises. Torque acts more on the mating surface, causing relative movement between the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft surface, resulting in wear of the shaft.
(4) Operation and maintenance, including poor lubrication of bearings, high operating temperature due to blockage of cooling system, loosening of fastening devices, etc.
2.Replacement and maintenance of crusher bearing
During the daily use of the crusher, its maintenance is essential, so what should be done to protect the product and prolong its service life.
Effective lubrication of bearings can prolong their service life and improve work efficiency. Before testing and commissioning, it must be ensured that the crusher bearing lubrication system is intact and effective.
1. Improper lubrication of crusher bearings, use of inferior or impure lubricating oil, excessive lubrication may wear or damage the bearings.
2. In order to ensure the use, the correct type of lubricating oil must be used. The grease brand is No. 3 lithium-based grease (composed of lithium soap and lubricating oil, and does not contain harmful ingredients). The filling amount of grease is generally 1/2-2/3 of the bearing cavity space.
3. If unsuitable lubricating oil is used, too much or insufficient lubricating oil will cause overheating and severe wear.
4. When the grease becomes dirty, dry or aging, it should be replaced in time. Under normal circumstances, the bearing of the crusher must be well lubricated, and the grease must be added after 3000 hours of operation.
2. Inject lubricating oil,the lubricating oil of the crusher bearing can be added through the oil nozzle and enter the bearing through the circulation hole.

1. First of all, lubrication is the key
The lubricating grease in the bearing should not be too much. If the amount of grease added is too large, the friction torque will increase and the bearing temperature will rise. If the amount of grease added is too small, reliable lubrication cannot be obtained and dry friction occurs. The appropriate amount of grease is 1/3~1/2 of the total void volume in the bearing. Therefore, an appropriate amount of grease should be injected regularly according to the requirements of use.
Proper lubrication and regular maintenance can avoid bearing damage caused by lubrication problems. To ensure reasonable lubrication should be done:
1) Follow the usage guidelines set by the device manufacturer for each device;
2) When adding grease, it should be filled between the rolling parts of the bearing and the shell (or retainer) to ensure that a sufficient amount of grease enters and the surface of the key raceway is fully lubricated;
3) Attention should be paid to when the bearing should be greased;
4) Monitor the indicating instruments of the equipment for early detection of signs of problems, such as temperature fluctuations and/or abnormally high temperatures;
5) Pay attention to equipment noise or abnormal vibration;
6) Observe lubricating oil leakage;
7) Regularly sample the lubricating oil and check for contamination.
2. Secondly, the gap problem
Be sure to choose the correct clearance C3 and C4 or other clearances. If the clearance is wrong, even the best bearings will be damaged. In the use of the crusher, due to the failure of the transmission device of the user, in order not to affect the production, it is necessary to replace the short shaft assembly (the test run has been completed). However, sometimes it runs for less than 10 minutes, and the temperature of the short shaft bearing rises sharply, locking the short shaft to death.
3. Improper assembly
Check whether the installation of the equipment is stable or unstable, the condition of the motor, and whether there is any problem with the internal accessories. When the machine is assembled, if the outer ring of the bearing and the housing hole or the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft are improperly matched, the bearing will be locked.
4. Oil seal problem
Due to the harsh working environment of the machine, a large amount of dust, burrs and other pollutants will be produced during work, which will cause problems in the quality of the oil seal, which will cause dry friction and damage to the oil seal, and cause the temperature of the bearing to rise too high in a short time. At this time, it is necessary to replace the oil seal and then conduct a test run, which can solve this situation.
5. Improper control of bearing heating temperature
When the temperature of the bearing heater is too high during the heating operation, it will cause tempering and reduce the hardness and precision, so that the temperature of the bearing will increase, causing the bearing to aggravate wear and damage, resulting in a locking phenomenon.
